DO NOT BUY! The best products out there.

The product was purchased on 02/27/20. Today is March 2nd, 2021. I turned on the monitor on 3/1/21 and found that it would not turn on after 4 days of inactivity. I ordered another power supply from Amazon to see if the power supply failed. I called support and they apparently told me the warranty was expired. I asked her the price of the repair. It was $150. That's all I needed to hear to know it wasn't worth it. I doubt the price includes shipping and handling. This monitor was installed the day I received it and has never been moved other than to first troubleshoot the issue described below with it. I say not worth it because I also had a repair order dated November 20th. I asked customer service if this repair order is valid. Had not. This problem was related to an on-screen display issue (I won't go into detail). Somehow the problem went away. (I'm not sure I should have sent it back at the time because the problem might be related to that, I'm not sure). In any case, I had several problems, one of which was documented during the warranty period and may have led to the second problem. I'm 3 days out of warranty so I understand but there was no hope of getting any help from LG. Obviously not worth paying more than $150 as I don't know if that solves another problem I was having. I currently have a 6 year old AOC monitor and it works great. he was thrown, moved, pushed, and he never flinched. The picture is still excellent. Bottom line, I would look at many other brands that are actually better at building a gaming monitor. DON'T SPEND MONEY ON IT!

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Too bright in the dark
