The strap deforms fairly quickly.
The holes you use are stretchy and visibly protrude, so it's not a belt to show off. It's fine to use once or twice a year if you like the look, but I mistakenly bought this as an everyday work belt, thinking the extra stitching would make it more durable; it's not, it's just for looks.
