Used it on a 3 week trip to Switzerland in 2018. much more. The addition of 2 onboard USB ports justified the cost and size. All we needed to charge were our phones. There were a few places we visited that only had 1 outlet available, so being able to charge 2 devices at the same time was useful. It also eliminates the need to carry around separate dedicated phone charging boxes. The USB rubber flip valve was sturdy enough for this ride - it can come loose with prolonged use, but that's no big deal. It even lights up a bit when plugged in so you can see the connections and confirm the device is powered on. More stylish than the usual industrial/boring white/black/beige plastic alternatives. Would recommend for travel but maybe not if you live there and need to plug in American style devices. Many wall sockets have 3 plugs arranged in a circle and that doesn't quite suit this design. You can plug it into 1 of 3, but the round base is too big and doesn't allow you to plug things into the other 2 outlets. For branches with only 1 or 2 locations (arranged vertically like a US branch), this is not a problem. I don't want to afford another trip to Switzerland any time soon, but if/when we come back, that's fine too!
