Review on Remington Teardrop Barrel Curling Wand for Effortless Textured Waves by Cara Dudas

I found that the curls that this wand gave me are unique! Definitely a beachy wave when riding thicker sections. But you can also get some fun, harder, 1920s-style waves (with product and fairly small sections). But with that, this wand didn't work very well on my hair type. I have very thick, curly, long hair. My hair needs a lot of constant heat for the curl to last and last. Unfortunately, this wand does not have a snap button closure. And so I couldn't gather the hair tightly enough over the entire length of the strand. I've had this problem with every curling iron you've used with your fingertips, so I can't fault this product or say it wasn't expected. I considered giving it five stars because I still believe the product works as promised. And I think it's great for many hair types. Despite this, this curling iron still gets pretty hot. I burned my fingertips and the sides of my hands a few times even after I felt like I learned how to use it properly. I have to say I'm surprised it didn't come with heat resistant gloves. It's been 36 hours since I curled my hair with a wand and the burned skin is still tender. So those were real burns and I deducted a star for not wearing gloves. I'll still keep it with me and use it for fun occasions, but for me it's not what you use every day. I would still recommend it as a fun addition!
