My RoboRock S4 Max's five-legged silicone rubber side brush had an issue where it would get tangled on carpets and get stuck under cabinets and floors. This is a common issue reported when visiting Roborock's tech website. In response, Roborock asked the applicant to send a photo of their problematic carpet. You must have hundreds of photos of carpets but no solution. These replacement brushes have nylon bristles and won't tangle. Since they only have 3 blades instead of 5, they rattle louder when hitting some objects, but they work effectively. Be careful to tighten the mounting screw due to vibration and discard the included small screwdriver. The brushes are inexpensive enough to be replaced when they wear out. Dipping the bristles in hot water will bring them back to normal. TO UPDATE. Unfortunately, the bristles are only half as long as the handle, the upper part is made of rubber. Since they only have 3 arms, they bang against furniture legs, making a rumble and vibrating enough to fall over. This happened twice as I found the brush in the room and the vacuum was somewhere else. The screw was tight, but since it's so small I wouldn't tighten it enough to damage the vacuum. I wouldn't use Loctite there!
