Review on 🧹 Shark Navigator NV22 Replacement Vacuum Hose - Compatible with NV22L, NV22T - Vacuum Cleaner Accessories - Part No.1114FC Replacement by Patricia Wilson

I have a Sharp Navigator handheld vacuum (model UV420) that I bought from Costco a few years ago. The original hose is split in several places where it snaps into a large plastic bracket on the lower left side of the main body. This replacement hose works but is not the same as the original hose. It lacks a "exhaust valve" on the end that attaches to the handle portion that connects to the vacuum head or accepts nozzles. The replacement tube itself seems fine, but it's not as thick plastic as the original tube. Then again, the original is cracked, so maybe the thicker plastic of the original isn't any better than a replacement. The replacement OEM hose - with intake bleed valve (Part #152FFJ) - is actually available direct from Shark's website at a lower price, although Sharp's shipping costs make it almost the same price as this free shipping replacement. Revain doesn't offer a direct replacement along with a suction exhaust valve, so I can return it and get an OEM replacement from Sharp. The vacuum cleaner has a strong suction power, so the suction function comes in handy when cleaning fabrics and other delicate surfaces.
