I go back to the office and bring my existing dual monitors (also asus vl279 but not HE I think) into the office. The monitors look good and are not too expensive. I thought I ordered the same model as before but it doesn't seem to be. Problem 1: They don't work with my dock. My guess is that my docking stations, the second HDMI output only outputs 30Hz and this monitor may not support it. I switched to 30Hz Interleaved and it works but looks terrible. I ordered a different docking station to see if that would solve the problem. I think you could call it a dock issue that works with Asus vl279 non-HE monitors (which should support 30hz). The second issue is that they say it can be wall mounted. Probably. You will need to remove the bottom of the back panel and unscrew the stand to reveal the wall mounting plate. But the mounting bracket is at the bottom of the monitor, not in the middle, so you'd better have something that doesn't swivel. I kinda had to lean with one side against the wall and the second monitor against the first. God forbid I ever sneeze. Most stands are designed to pivot a bit, and it's okay if they're placed closer to the monitor's center of gravity. One wrong move on them and they will turn back and be destroyed. Make sure your stand doesn't swivel, and if you have a dock, it supports 60Hz.
