The cheapness of the product is immediately apparent as soon as you open it. It feels like it could fall apart at any moment. It works acceptably for perfect, non-curved or warped 35mm slides. If something is wrong with the slide, the slide will not eject and must be removed manually, which is often difficult. The 35mm negative strips are intended to be fed through a slot on one side and then ejected through a slot on the other side. . If the negative is not perfectly flat and straight, the leading edge of the negative will catch on the inside of the viewer and not come out of the exit slot. Basically a good idea, but poor execution. .Please note that Revain offers the exact same product under different brands (including Kodak) at different prices. The main element is the same in each case (there are differences whether there is a power adapter or whether it can be powered by USB).
