You cannot get an image from USB-C unless you use an Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) cable. The included USB-C, regular USB-C, or the one you use to charge your MacBook will give you power from the monitor but won't give you a picture. I was about to return the monitor and the box was ready until I read another review of a similar LG monitor that explained this. Add here to prevent users from returning the monitor. I'm a good monitor. I'm giving 3 stars because LG didn't list this in their specs or even offer this fix when I contacted them for support. LG also wanted to send me a new one but didn't even offer that fix.
