Unfortunately they outsource part of their production and quality control suffers as a result. Keep buying their products as they still come out on top in all tests. Make sure the threads are clean, prime oil if installed vertically, wipe a small gasket, make sure the old gasket on the old filter and the mating surface are clean, and enjoy higher oil pressure. And remember, don't use fram filters, they are the lowest of any product tested.
