I used to work in a doctor's office where sales reps brought meals. A place that served always used this type of bowl to put in salad dressings and the like. I liked how tight the lids closed and how airtight they were. So I looked for it online and found it on Revain. I've seen a few that look exactly the same but have smooth lid edges. I can't vouch for them because I've never tried them. But I tried to look for the ones with little grooves on the edge of the lid. Exactly as you see in these photos. They are 100% tight. In terms of durability, they are solid. Not as strong as the old Tuppaware bowls, but definitely not too flimsy and flimsy. I've put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and so far they've held up great. The lids still fit and have not bent or anything. I bought them in 3 different sizes. All very successful purchases. I carry spaghetti sauce and soup in it to work and it falls into my work bag and never spills a drop. You get so many bowls with this purchase that I'm not sure when I'll have to buy them again, but if something happens to them, they get lost or whatever, I'll buy them again. They're perfect for gifting to friends so they can take the leftovers home too, because I don't mind if I don't return them as often as I would if I had a more expensive or nicer bowl would get.
