This adapter is terrible. It's like an intermittent connection that randomly drops. It advertises 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, but I've never had it go above 50Mbps on either band and often dropped below 10Mbps before I had to unplug and reset it. My other devices on the network in the same room as the adapter don't cause any problems, but my computer with this adapter just drops the connection, and when the connection is established, the speed is so slow that it can hardly be used. I also tried updating the drivers and they are basically not there. You're better off using a spare dual-band router as the wireless adapter, which I did.
