This Vigoroso watch is a large jewel on a flexible transparent tinted strap and the numbers are almost neon green and bright, making them easy to read are. I got it for seniors with disabilities thinking it would be easy but it really isn't that easy... The numbers don't light up which is annoying. Pressing the button at the 2 o'clock position will illuminate the time and pressing it again will toggle between the date and seconds. I don't need seconds and I want them to keep burning. I felt it would be suitable for the elderly given the size, big numbers and design, but that's such a problem, especially when they're not very stable and can't use both hands just to tell the time. It took me 5 attempts to take a picture of the time because as soon as I press it to show the time, I pick up my phone and try to take a picture, it turns off. I suspect it's trying to save battery by not having such a bright light on all the time, but it would be great if it had a dim setting where we could just leave it on. On the other hand, it's not that crazy. large, although I was concerned that their size might make them look a lot lighter than comparably sized watches. The strap fastens with a regular belt, so good manual control is required to close it. So I think it might work for those who need flashy numbers as long as they are stable on their feet and don't have any mobility issues including hand controls.
