Don't do like me and enthusiastically throw it into the pond. The cable is not as long as I find. I gave up everything. Luckily I tried it first in a nearby pond and not in sea water. I put it next to a small room dehumidifier for a few hours, then rejuvenated with silica gel in an oven on a baking sheet at 175 degrees.
