defective toner cartridge (cyan)

I ordered this high capacity cyan toner cartridge right after installing the previous one in the printer. I always order a replacement right away so I have it on hand. It was stored in a heated room until needed and installed in mid-September 2012. But in early October, I noticed an indistinct, repeating, wavy pattern in cyan on pages whose colors required cyan toner. These "waves" patterns were about 3/4 inch long and about 3/4 inch apart across the page, side by side, and the rows were repeated about 1 1/2 inch apart across the page. inches between rows. It took about 3 pages with no cyan on the pages before the lines disappeared and didn't print again. It looks like the roller on the cartridge must be damaged somehow. Replacing the cartridge with a new one fixed the problem. Since I kept the defective cartridge for several months before using it and discovering the problem, it is too late to return it. I was only able to print a few pages before the problem started. This cartridge is "Genuine Xerox" and looks the same as any others I've used. So I lost $190 on a useless cartridge with no recourse. I would give zero stars if I could. Update: (Same day as the review) Revain replied to an email I sent them with a copy of the review telling them they would ship the cartridge back to me and provided a prepaid UPS label for it the return available. GOOD WORK AMAZON!
