Super thin and good quality

There is no shortage of reviews for this product. This is a very good product. The quality is high. I installed three of these under cherry kitchen cabinets. They are attached with two screws. My advice is to ditch the cheap screws that come with the box and buy two good quality wood screws. This will make installation much easier. The information on the difficulty of removing plugs for direct wiring is correct. This is PITA and I used a dremel to soften them and make them easier to remove. The remarks about the lack of space inside for wiring have some merit but are of little importance. Take your time. Two of the three I installed were easy to connect with a cable sticking out of the wall. In one I had to add an electrical cable due to the input I was using in the mount and the cable length available. If you have 6 inches or less to work with, plan for an extra power cord just in case. These lights are so thin they won't be visible under your kitchen cabinet, so just buy the color that's cheaper. I came across a code while checking, I used this metal round wire between the wall and the lamp. A suitable adapter is included with the light. Sorry I can't remember what it's called but it makes for a neat install as the new lights aren't as thick to hide the cord as the old ones. I installed a dimmer on these lights and it works very well. from these lights. The old fluorescent lights I replaced were much hotter. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the flimsy mounting screws and hard to remove cutouts.
