Works, but be careful
. This works very well with a suitable fabric such as microfiber or micro suede, but be careful as it can snag. I found this worked well on my sofa, which is heavy microsuede, but my dining chairs are lighter microfiber and tend to snag. It catches and hooks all loose strings. Must be used with a light touch. This works on carpets when they are dense with very little or no pile.
