These tubes are good for the home studio and as a safety net for professional work, but don't rely on them too much. There is a delay in turning the light on and off. It takes about 2-3 seconds to fully turn on or off. After turning off, it dims down to about 1% and turns off completely after about 2-3 seconds. If you dim too fast, it will also respond slowly. This is not real time. Haven't seen any flickering yet, so that's good news, but be aware of the slow response. The description says it comes with 4 color doilies. I didn't have them with me. It comes with 2 diffusions which are useless. They're just too thin, and since they're very close to the light, it doesn't matter.
