Overall, this isn't the worst option, but there are better options. To be honest I was trying to hurry up and buy two chairs as a friend was coming to visit and I needed two folding chairs. When I first received and assembled them, I thought there was no way they could hold me or my friends taller than average. Surprisingly they kept us! The main limitation is that you feel like you can't move much (if you're a tall person) for fear of breaking the chair. If you are a normal sized person, this can be an acceptable and economical option. For the taller folks among us, look elsewhere.
