Review on ๐Ÿ” Enhance Accuracy and Precision with the Jasper 200J Circle Cutting Jig for Plunge Routers by Jabari Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good product. Well designed.

Fits many *good* routers commonly sold in the US. It even fits my super cheap Ryobi R163, but the Ryobi needs to have a plastic base to fit. (Most routers will have to remove the base as it becomes the new base part.) Installation was a bit odd, but the instructions are detailed enough to be helpful. I would carefully remove this from the packaging and save for future use; the package *is* your guide. Once set up, it's easy to use and accurate enough for my use. I built my subwoofer enclosure using this tool for the hole in the side and also for the flush mounting ring. You should use a 1/4 inch straight cutter. Anything else and you have to do some math before each cut. Seriously, just buy a crappy 1/4" bit if you don't have one. You *should* still have it. ;-) A good product. Well designed. I recommend this to anyone who needs well cut MDF circles. But then again, I don't *know* that. I'm trying to visualize using this on plywood and seeing possible cracks and such. Drawing a circle with a razor and using a new head might work. I'm just guessing here. I've used it on hardwood and MDF and it worked well with both materials.]
