Will break when used with large phones

This is marketed as a universal phone mount but will break when used with large phones. I used this with my Samsung S8 which is about the size of a regular iPhone 8. It lasted a few hundred miles, but I'd rather spend a few bucks more for something that will last. I'm glad I wasn't on my bike when it happened - it could have been a disaster for me and my phone.
