Review on AOPEN UM.HE1AA.001 27E1 Monitor with 75Hz Refresh Response and Wide Screen by Jamie Hoff

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good 21.5 " monitor for everyday use.

This monitor was easy to set up and connect to my windows laptop. My laptop has a 15 inch screen, but a 21.5 inch monitor makes basic computing tasks, web surfing, gaming, watching videos or editing photos much more enjoyable. It's surprisingly light and doesn't take up much space on my small desk. Here's what I think of some of the features on this monitor: Connectivity and ports - An HDMI cable is included so I can plug it into my laptop and get to work right away. Path. It also works with my Mac laptop with an HDMI adapter. The monitor connects to an electrical outlet (cable included). On the back of the monitor there are connections for VGA, HDMI and power cable. Display - I am more than happy with the quality of the display. Colors are good, images are crisp, and there's no flickering or tearing. Brightness and contrast can be adjusted. Tilt - I like tilting the screen to the right angle. When the monitor is used by multiple people (tall, small, children, etc.), this is a handy feature. Adjustment buttons - The adjustment buttons (main menu, source mode, contrast/brightness adjustment and power) are hidden under the bottom edge of the monitor. Advertisement. I love that they can't be seen, but it's a bit awkward for me to crane my neck to see them. The manual says which button is which, but that strikes them as odd. Once everything was set up, I didn't need to refer to her anymore. Overall, this is an impressive monitor for the price. The main advantages: light weight and small size on the table, good screen and the ability to tilt the display at different viewing angles. A small minus: the location of the adjustment buttons. 4.5 stars.
