The description says XS is 3T so I bought an S. The little one was too big. Then I bought an XS and it fit with some slack (it wasn't tight). I have found this size on other Stelle products. Size XS (Height: 35-40 inch / Age: 3-4 years), Size S (Height: 39-44 inch / Age: 4-5 years), Size M (Height: 45-50 inch / Age: 6- 7 Years), Large (Height: 50-54 Inches / Age: 7-8 Years). I think it's more accurate. My girlfriend is 39 inches tall and as I said, there was still room in the XS. The bodice is lined and the skirt is very light and flowy.
