I zipped/unzipped the top compartment about 7 times and the fabric over the zip started to tear making it almost impossible to unzip the top/ shut down. My husband bought a different brand money belt (Alpha Keeper) and opened it probably 5 times a day for 13 days (he carried most of the money with him for our holiday) and didn't have this problem. Also, the top compartment is ONLY big enough for a US passport, so it wasn't easy to put the passport in the top compartment and put fabric over the passport to close the compartment.
