These are just the cutest. We bought the green ones last year and they have lasted all year with no problems. The only reason I bought a new one was because the black marker was left open inside and smeared the whole end. This way we have a brand new one for school and a spare to get dirty in case something happens or gets lost. I highly recommend them as they are versatile. You can clip them in a 3-ring binder or not, and they're easier to pack into the table. The only thing I wouldn't recommend them for is when you need a hard side case to protect something, but even a flimsy portable pencil sharpener will survive. last year in this case, so it's still pretty good for most things.
