As someone who is just starting out with ikebana, ordering this tool kit from Wazakura seemed like a no-brainer. The Koryu scissors and brass kenzan flower holder are both beautiful, sturdy tools that I can see myself using for years to come. The included cleaner and care tool are also helpful additions that most beginners may not think to purchase separately. However, I was disappointed with the florist shears and brass kenzan. The shears felt cheap and flimsy in my hand, and I'm not sure how long they will last. The brass kenzan also seemed to tarnish and discolor quickly, which is a shame considering its high price point. Overall, I think this kit is a good value for those just starting out with ikebana, but beware of the potential quality issues with some of the included tools.
