Review on 🔴 Freud D1280X Diablo 12-Inch 80 Tooth ATB Crosscutting Saw Blade - 1-Inch Arbor for Precise Cuts, in Red by Cody Hunt

I was and always have been a fan of Freud's (and therefore Diablo ) products. I have purchased Freud/Diablo cutters, Forstner cutters and saw blades in the past and have always been happy with their products. This blade ended this series. While the blade is quite good and produces smooth cuts, the accuracy leaves a lot to be desired. My problem is how thin the saw blade is. A thin notched blade, like the blade it replaced, but I was surprised at how much thinner the plate itself was. I found that when using it with my DeWalt miter saw, the blade would deflect and make a cut at 90 degrees all the way down, but a degree or two off the 90 degrees to the table. I also found that after about 4 months the cuts became a little fuzzier indicating the blade had lost its sharp edge which I find unacceptable as after 2 years of using the replaced blade I was still getting smooth cuts.
