I replaced my TV and soundbar remote. The keyboard works great. Battery life is decent, but we don't leave it on all the time. I would definitely recommend this remote to any Fire TV or Fire Stick user with a proper remote. This is not suitable for a small remote control that does not have a voice button. Pros: Simple programming. Nice. Works very well. Overall it deserves 5 stars. Cons: The power buttons are unlabeled (but the backlight comes on when you turn the device on, so just toggle it off/on to see what position it's in). It's a bit bulky (according to my wife) but as soon as I reminded her that it's less bulky than 3 remotes and a keyboard, she declined. It was picky stuff I don't count but other people might. Update (July 2, 2019): Battery life is great even if you leave it on. We charge it once a week or twice overnight. We get a lot of compliments from guests who wish they just had to install a remote control. My 14 month old dunked it in a glass of water, we removed the batteries and let it dry. still working hard I'm not sure everyone will have this experience, but it's worth mentioning. Edit: Someone asked me what controls I programmed. I programmed TV On/Off, TV Source, Soundbar Volume Up (doubles when turned on), Soundbar Volume Down, Soundbar Source, Soundbar On/Off Switch. I don't need more, but I like having options.
