PUP size is perfect for my 15 lb dog ;). I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't like toothpaste as much as the other kind I use. But that's not so bad because he's always trying to lick toothpaste off someone else's brush lol! My dog is 10 years old and I have used a lot of dog toothbrushes and brushed her teeth since he was a puppy. I really like the design of this one, it's easier to use. I don't like the ones that are put on the finger, I've always used a toothbrush. A good old toothbrush works just as well on your dog's teeth as it does on yours :). I have always brushed my dog's teeth 3-4 days a week (on days I don't brush my teeth I give him bones to brush his teeth) and he has never had tooth decay or mouth problems. I'm a vet tech so once a month I brush his teeth along the gum line. I'm not suggesting doing this yourself, but I highly recommend that at your next scheduled visit, you have your vet show you how to do this on your dog using the appropriate tool). You can buy the tool online. Basically you scrape the plaque from the gum line, but it is very important not to push the plaque up but under the gums. You have to scrape down. I find it important to keep my dog's teeth in top condition along with dental cleanings and bone treatments. I love this toothbrush and hope they sell it separately without the toothpaste.
