I was wondering how Tekton managed to use both sides of the connectors. To say the solution is genius would be an understatement. When I first opened the box I saw a 1/2" extension, at first I was disappointed - why would you need an extension for the collet nuts? I then looked at the first bushing and was still confused until I looked more closely looked and saw that the 1/2" washer was between the two ends. I have to say I would love to have a whole range of sockets like this one. I checked it with my torque wrench and found no signs of rounding or head fatigue. Now all you need is a hammer or torque wrench to use in your car, truck or tractor. But storing something straight and compact is a lot easier than the big big four. Modern socket wrenches are becoming about as useless as they can get. They come in parts for a compact size and most often don't have the leverage to break nuts set with a wrench. I've had 4-tracks in my truck for many years, but they don't fit in the trunk under the back seat. While I'm not looking forward to changing tires, I'm looking forward to getting rid of the mess in my truck. If you're on a budget, with any 1/2" socket wrench and a piece of steel tubing to use as a shank, all you need are these sockets.
