Works as advertised

This 4G LTE router works as advertised, you need to know how to set up your router/home wifi for it to work. You can instantly connect to WiFi with the WPS button and from there access the admin portal for the rest of the setup if you have a laptop without an RJ45 port like me. N. I burned 40GB of data over the weekend lounging in my van and watching Netflix with no issues. One of the highlights for me is the detachable external antenna, which means you can upgrade to better ones or mount one higher depending on your region. After a few emails back and forth with support, there seems to be an account with higher "root" privileges to access additional features like band/frequency lock, which I can confirm work. With the visible cellular service running on Verizon at my home, I pushed myself to Band 5, which only had 1-2 bands. I noticed that after boot it connects to band 4 with full bands and can't find the blocking function strips as you described. . After contacting support, they helped me to get information about the root account. Device wise this is a 5 star product for me as it works as intended. I'm very familiar with configuring routers etc so it's not a big deal but might be for some. But maybe 4 stars from the support side, since the firmware and root account are not published. maybe I missed the instructions. However, one problem is that the root password is admin, which cannot be changed. Actually it doesn't matter, because I have not connected any sensitive data to this device or the device contains sensitive data. But doesn't big brother always watch? There's no point in hiding. All you need is an active SIM card and the right APN settings and it should work. Tested on Verizon and T-Mobile.
