Misleading Box Dimensions
These boxes work well but are smaller than their white counterparts (Storage/File Storage Box with Removable Lid, Letter/Legal, 12" x 10" x 15" White, 20- Pack (0071302 ) ) I use banker drawers to keep files the right size (about 15 inches long) and I have no problem putting them in the white boxes but I have to stuff them in these brown ones . Actual dimensions are listed as "16.2 x 12.5 x 10.5 inches", same as white boxes. But I measured them and they are actually 15.5 x 12 x 10.5 inches So these are great boxes, but they're deceptively smaller than the white letter/legal boxes, which is good to know if you plan on using them for document storage.
