Poor quality brush.
I bought this brush to use with my own cleaning solution (distilled water and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol). After about 10 uses I noticed the brush leaving its red color on the paper towel it was placed on and eventually the surface of the brush actually peeled off. I'm assuming it's an isopropyl alcohol reaction, which is a bit crazy considering how dilute the solution is.
