Review on Modern TRIXIE Cat Tree: Stylish and Functional Cat Tower and Playground by Pamela Warfield

The revolver required a cap to be screwed on, but the screw that came with it was about 1/4" too short! Worst of all, when positioning the cover for assembly, the cover obscures the view of what is happening. You don't realize it's too short until countless failed attempts. I ended up using a marker to mark how far the screw went into the cover without lowering the cover to the top of the tower, and then noted how far the screw went protruding from the top parts of the tower without a cover. I see some other reviews saying the tower arrived without assembly. This leads me to suspect that the manufacturer received defective screws which they give out to customers with loose covers. and let the customers take care of it, knowing that a part of the customers don't bother to return this heavy part = money saved by the manufacturer replacing defective screws. Too bad - it's a very nice tower.
