Contractor Quality: Smoke Detector & Fire Alarm

Fits as advertised but is cheap, wall mounts are thin and more difficult to align for face/detector mount and should not exhibit distortion or be perfectly flat and square. The battery compartment is very narrow, it takes a long time to install/replace. A good product when needed in bulk just for a garage, barn or other building that is not permanently occupied but recommends another unit for home use.
