Growing up with my grandparents in Northern California, I remember those lights in our little tree every year. It was at home. It was comfort and love. I always wanted to have those old fashioned lightbulbs on my Christmas tree but they stopped making them. When I saw her, my childhood flashed before my eyes. Now I am 54 years old and I live with my son, his wife and my 6 year old granddaughter. I had to have these lights hoping they would bring back many fond memories. And one day, when I'm gone, my granddaughter will remember me, her mother and our Christmas together.
