This unit replaces the toner INSIDE the old DRUM. The printed instructions are not clear. I didn't get it until I saw the video. But now it works great. It's not a one step process like I thought with other whole cartridges. Instead, just replace the smaller toner unit INSIDE the existing print cartridge and then install it. watch the video Now I see that this is a way of saving money and not paying for the whole drum which doesn't really wear out, just the internal replacement unit. I didn't even know it fell apart!
