Bridge. I hooked it up via a 5GHz N-AC from an R6300v1 to provide wired LAN connectivity to my upstairs shop and it was incredibly easy (updated DD-WRT routers are usually used). I connected my main system to a GHz port with a Cat 6 cable and it delivers amazing speed and throughput and works flawlessly. Connecting a few other machines didn't slow anything down. I have no doubt it will be a great access point, but if you want my setup then these two devices work great together. The R6300v1 acts as an access point, providing uninterrupted and fast access throughout the home on both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. I'm sure the 6250 will do as well if not better (it has better hardware than the v1 R6300). Buy it and make sure you update the firmware before doing anything else.
