The right product for me, the price suited me.

Excellent tool. The thin breadth fits snugly in the palm of the hand. I did not consciously opt for the plus version. This one is easier to use with one hand, has a more natural grip, and is more handy for fingerprint authentication.
Before to that, there was s7, and there's a respectable gap between the two. In terms of usability, 8ka is the superior algorithm. As a company, Samsung has come a long way in this respect.
Level-average autonomy. With a normal daily workload, it will last you the whole day.
Without bixby and soft glass, I'd give it a solid 5 out of 5. Instead of recommending something else. You can accept it, but only at a steep discount; otherwise, you risk being dissatisfied. Even today, I'm tempted to go back to my old Samsung Galaxy S7. There were some positives about him (the convenience of a physical button, a fingerprint sensor, the absence of Bixby, durability .).

Extra: as of right now, Bigsby is available for official reassignment. I have already paid for it. It's handy now.

Pros

You can't beat the screen. Without giving an inch. Better utilization of available room. The screen has nearly no borders, which does not negatively impact usability. Camera. Similar to the other case, there will be no probing inquiries here. Acceleration of productivity. An extremely cutting-edge piece of hardware. Has a vast knowledge in nearly every subject.

Cons

Iris unlock is iffy at best. For instance, its performance degrades significantly when exposed to direct sunlight. The display is way too pliable. Objects of comparison exist (s6, s7 there were no such problems nearby). There are visible scratches on the screen, as if someone had brushed across it with their finger. And, it's a rather substantial depth. After 1.5 years of use, the battery shows signs of fatigue, which is to be expected from such a device.
