Once installed you will love it!

These elevators work reasonably well, but I encountered a few difficulties before getting what I wanted. Once I get rid of those obstacles, the pulley system works great! Here's a summary of my thoughts: Screws: The included screws are made of very soft metal and break easily. I would recommend using screws other than the ones included. Pulley Rope: Nowhere is it explained that the supplied rope needs to be cut. You need to cut the rope in half and use each half for each pulley. Kayak Strap: This strap is very good, but it is too long and causes the kayak to hang at least three feet below the pulleys. If you had a garage with high ceilings, straps would be perfect. But since I don't have high ceilings in my garage, I had to improvise. I was using spring loaded straps and got stuck on them. I also had to use a piece of rubber that holds up well to keep the straps from slipping off my kayak. Instructions: The instructions are pretty terrible. It takes a little time to read them and understand what they are trying to say. I recommend reading the reviews and it will help you understand better. I've been using the product for a month now and have no complaints. Once you install it, you will love it!
