Easier to prepare a cold drink; easier to get rid of the preparation of cold drinks. Making a cold drink in my toddy used to be a real headache: pour 1 glass of water, then 6 ounces of coffee, then 3 cups of water in a circle, then wait 5 minutes, then another 6 ounces of coffee. Sigh. Certainly not something I would do before work. With these pouches, simply pour 12 ounces of coffee into this pouch that toddy lines, then add 7 cups of water. Here it is! I did my second setup this morning before work and it was so quick and easy. I use the bag on my scale to measure out 12 ounces of coffee and place the bag in the toddy, then add 7 cups of water and then screw on the bag. So easy. Cleaning was also very easy. Essentially, you just pick up the bag! (Of course you would wash toddy, but no more dirty coffee grounds). In addition, using the bag will make the filter much cleaner and I am sure you will increase its lifespan by at least 50%. Remember to gently squeeze the pouch (without tearing it!) to squeeze out every last drop of coffee gold. I've been looking for different cold brew options because I found Toddy's process/cleanup to be a real hassle, but I stopped looking because these packs make all the difference. I was initially skeptical of all these 5 star reviews; However, it is indeed a 5 star product, although the cost is a bit higher than I would like.
