I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the cat carrier. It is very well made and slides out to make room for my Stewie. A big problem. The main compartment in which he will ride in the car is too small. My cat is about average for an adult kitten in a tuxedo. He would be anywhere. I tried to drag him in, but he had no part in it! It would be ideal for a small dog or cat, puppy or kitten but I would not recommend it for a large adult cat.
