Cost was less than using the dedicated Flowtron bait. The Flowtron decoy is usually placed on the bottom of the device. The Black Flag lure will not securely attach to the bottom of the device unless tied to it in a twisted manner. Therefore, in order not to touch the attractant, I simply place it on the side of the Flowtron device. It fits easily and hangs on the side. The Black Flag is supposed to last 30 days, but I only needed it for a week or two during the peak of the bite. The yard was full of mosquitoes and invisible, biting black flies. My bug trap went haywire when I attached the bait. I'm happy with this purchase but I'm deducting a star because it didn't quite live up to my expectations.
