They are so easy to use that I don't understand all the negative reviews of them being difficult to use. I used them to create headlines and calendars for my bullet magazine. 95% of the time I was able to stamp each letter cleanly with no margins. The wood is a bit darker so the letters are a little hard to read but I usually leave them stamped anyway so I can see what I'm choosing. I'm sure you could make them stand out more with a silver or white highlighter, but I don't mind. The dies sometimes "grab" as you pull them out, but once you get into the groove it becomes almost imperceptible. The ink in this set is also very cute! My only complaint is that the pink set was a bit dry and unusable straight out of the box, but I'm wondering if I can get it wet again and whiten. I recommend this to everyone!
