I've been looking for a short laptop desk for months. It is very durable, looks good and is easy to assemble in about 10 minutes. I use it when I'm sitting in my bedroom chair so I don't have to put the computer on my lap, which is very convenient. uncomfortable for me. Now, with this desk, I can place my computer, Bluetooth speaker, and mouse right on the desk, slide them out of the way when I get up, and then slide them back toward me when I sit back down. This may not be easy if you don't have a carpet (if you have a wooden floor you will have to lift the table to move it). Please note this is not a full size table. It's only 23" tall (the perfect height for my chair - I measured the height I needed before I bought it) and the tabletop isn't very tall either, but it fits my 11" nicely. MacAir, my mouse and my speaker! If you have long legs, your knees may not fit under the table (I'm 5ft 8" and my knees are less than 1" below the edge of the table). If you have an optical mouse, you'll also need a mouse pad (I cut mine into a smaller square to fit the desk without overlapping).
