Very cute clock (my 11 year old daughter was delighted to receive it as a birthday gift) but very difficult to set up and/or change clock settings. Not at all for children. For some strange reason the clock beeps every hour and I couldn't figure out how to change it even after reading the instructions! My husband laughed and said how difficult it was and tried to fix the creature himself but couldn't. TWICE! Now my daughter doesn't wear it anymore because the squeak gets in her way and adults can't even fix it! Another downside is that the clock doesn't light up until you press the button. There are no luminous numbers to read in the dark.
