Works exactly like the original in my mother's Dell laptop. Bought to increase RAM for the computer as the laptop is still in good condition. It slowed down over the years, this product helped bring the car back to life. Not a huge difference as the processor isn't an upgraded, great quad-core processor or whatever, a basic single-core Centrino, but it consumed so much memory that extra RAM was required even to access the internet. So in conclusion, very good job on the chip. Works as it should.
