Bought for business purposes and long hours - reading excel emails etc - not for fun; It was expensive compared to similar non-commercial applications at around thirty to forty dollars. Well worth the investment, especially with the extra screen adjustment features (up and down) and especially when using multiple monitors due to the thin sides so both screens look seamless side by side (I plan to buy a second one soon). I tried researching other brands for the store but either they were very expensive or there wasn't much choice. Also, I like direct power rather than an adopter. a 23 inch size for a multi monitor setup is much better than a 27 inch setup. I have this setup at work and it puts a strain on my neck. In terms of input, it has a DP plugin which is perfect. Since this is a new HP addition, prices may come down in a few years. UPDATE: 7/6/2019: Last week this monitor's screen went blank. fr business series in this price range for a little over a year do not speak of quality. The 3-year HP warranty covers replacement.
