Another great offering from TRN, delivering a cool, clear and detailed approach to sound, making it a good candidate for fans of jazz, acoustic and classical music. The cooler sound profile removes the warm blanket found on many phones, allowing the ST2 to see more detail. Well, depending on your tolerance for high frequencies, this might work with other genres as well, but compressed material subjected to the loudness mastering technique tires quickly, better mastered material with a higher dynamic range works much better, and ST2 lets the recording to shine through . I love the clear acrylic look and they are slightly smaller than the MT1 making them suitable for small ears. Good ergonomics and build quality with a decent detachable cable complete the package. Something different from the typical V-curve popular in this market. It's nice to have many profiles available for synergy with different genres. Good job TRN.
