The belt itself looks good and appears to be made of good material, but the buckle is poorly made and can easily be detached from the belt. My son has only worn it twice and hasn't slipped or dived head first etc - nothing that would put any extra stress on the buckle (although the baseball belt buckle needs to be able to withstand that extra stress as it's part of a baseball). The belt has partially come loose from the buckle (as shown in the photo) and cannot be repaired. The buckle is not actually attached to the belt. Rather, the buckle is held to the belt by a toothed clip that neither opens nor closes. I can't understand why Mizuno didn't just rivet the buckle to the belt. You will regret buying this belt.
